About Me

I am Claire Winchester, a professional hypnotherapist who is fully qualified and insured to practice. I’ve already worked with many different people with a variety of issues and I have helped to find positive changes in people, helping them change their outlook in order to achieve their goals. I specialise in helping people overcome emotional difficulties (anxiety, low self-esteem, confidence issues and habits), and helping people to increase their motivation.

I myself suffered from panic attacks, insomnia and generalised anxiety when I was younger and tried many different medications and treatments in order to find answers and gain knowledge and find techniques to help. Hypnotherapy for me was my enlightenment and saviour. After a number of sessions, I felt more in control, my panic attacks stopped, and my confidence grew and I fell back into a healthy sleep pattern. Hence why I trained and became a hypnotherapist myself to pass on what I’ve learnt to others and help clients to regain a sense of peace and control in their lives once more.

I have a diploma in Hypnotherapy (Dip Hyp CS) accredited by the Royal College of Nursing and I’m also I professional member of the complementary and natural healthcare council. I have qualifications in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Dip. PC) and I have worked with a varity of counselling and psychotherapy models to address a range of issues. This has expanded my knowledge and understanding of the human psyche. I’m a fully accredited member of The National Association of Counsellors, Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapists (NACHP). I also have degree BA (Hons) in Design and Art Direction and have experience of working with special needs using art therapy. I work from home and sessions take place in my Therapy shed or as I like to call it “The Hideout”. It is the perfect place to relax and switch off in, with the peaceful backdrop of the birds singing and noises of nature. Cosy and warm you can feel free to make yourself at home.
